Turn off the fan

Who doesn't want to be one of those "wind on hair" bitches? You know, the ones that posses the ability to walk in slow motion and command music to sound when they appear - or more like flow - into scene. Think Victoria's Secret, but without the thong. Well, I'm not one of those creatures. Whenever nature's fan hits me, my capacity for handling it goes down the drain. Imagine the painful act of snapping a quick shot. Painful, indeed.

Another men's department sweatshirt, another plaid item: my favorite pants of the season (in case you didn't notice from the many appearances jeje). Happy Saturday!

Future cat lady

I think I will be a cat lady. I have all the qualities for it. I can totally see myself being a cranky old lady constantly saying "what, WHAT?" to people 'cause my hearing aid is failing. My love for boyfriend jeans, which make my figure less feminine and sort of assless, will be a strong contributor towards that. Happy Valentine's day.

All things just keep getting better

A while ago when I lived back home I was sick and had to be in bed for a few weeks. It hit me really hard, since I'm always doing stuff and I don't like to feel impotent and tied up. I even got a little depressed. Until I found hope and laughter in the weirdest place: watching SpongeBob and "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" marathons. Back to back. I'm sure most of you know SpongeBob, but maybe a few don't know or remember the Fab Five. It was about these five gay guys who would go to a heterosexual slob's house and make over everything about him: his clothes, his hair, his decor, his culinary taste and oh, his "culture". (P.S.: The guy in charge of culture was such bullshit and did nothing). You can't imagine how much I enjoyed watching this show. I loved Carson and his over the top styles for the poor guy, who was in it almost always to please a bitchy girlfriend or wife. I remember that they always made over the guys' hair. Because, honestly, what is it about our hair that has such power? I've been sick of my color lately so without even blinking I went darker. I mess up and change my hair a lot, it gives me a sense of control over a world full of chaos. Don't ask, but I was so much meaner all afternoon. Oh well.

I love bicolored brogues. Mambo no. 5! Where is Lou Bega, anyhow?

¡Mambo no. 5! ¿Qué será de Lou Bega?

Mix it up

Sometimes, even I like to get dressier and clean up. Well, only when it's demanded. Can't elaborate much today. Whatcha think of the mix of patterns? No, I wasn't drunk when I got dressed. I'm happy, I had peanut butter. Happy thursday!

No puedo alargarme hoy. Estoy feliz, he comido mantequilla de maní. ¡Feliz jueves!

Like a sir

Title of one of many memes going around. Appropiate, don't you think? And on that topic, I can't stop watching the "ola ke ase" video. It has new, profound meaning every time. More than Yao Ming's face. Or the Overly Attached Girlfriend's eyes.

So, not much to say about the outfit, just my profound love for these pants and the strange effort to emulate a gangster. Happy monday!

¡Feliz lunes!

A matter of opinion

I'm a very opinionated person. Actually, pain-in-the-ass opinionated. When I get something into my head, there's very little chance I'll change my mind. Blame it on my only child syndrome, I guess. It also applies with clothes. Sometimes I get stuff just for the hell of it, just out of mere stubbornness. It happened with these shoes, it happened with this jumper (more mustard)... it happens with men, hell, life in general. I wish a part of me knew how to count to ten. Oh well.

Last week of January. I can't believe how fast the month has gone by. Soon it'll be Christmas again. We've been having crazy weather lately, so I always carry an extra bundle just in case, like on the picture.

Khaki forever

We've established my love for armed forces before (remember, here). It seems that the camo fever reached a peak, main reason why I set aside my beloved vintage uniform until the tide settles. Ironically, even with an uniform it sucks feeling uniformed. However, when I saw this khaki shirt on Topshop, I knew that as a lover of this type of clothes from like, forever, it was my duty to get it. I think the patchwork makes it rather special. I'm craving pizza at ten in the morning. Crazy.

Happy Friday!

Locura.

¡Feliz viernes!
