We've all seen it everywhere. Maybe it's the fear of the Mayans and their 2012 prophecy. Who knows, but ethnic is bigger than ever this spring/summer. I think this is a safer trend and better investment than most of the current ones - such as tie dye, for example - since you will probably get more use of it in the future. Besides, what's not to love? I own a few pieces myself and also made a couple of buys recently, shown below. The skirt, so cheap, is still waiting for the weather to agree and for my legs to catch a tan. Who knows, I might get desperate like with the sandals. The bikini, that I FINALLY got it after we mentioned it in the Fashion Against Aids post, has me dreaming of sandy beaches. And the bag, what can I say, me and fringes, we know how it goes.
Ya lo hemos visto en todas partes. A lo mejor es por el miedo a los Mayas y su profecía del 2012. Quien sabe, pero lo étnico está más in que nunca esta primavera/verano. Creo que es una tendencia más segura y mejor para invertir que otras actuales - como por ejemplo, el tie dye - ya que probablemente podrás sacarle más partido en el futuro. Además ¿a quién puede no gustarle? Yo tengo alguna cosilla de siempre y recientemente hice alguna adquisición mas (fotos de arriba). La falda, baratísima, está esperando que el tiempo acompañe y mis piernas tengan algo de color, aunque igual me desespero como con las sandalias. El bikini, que lo mencionamos en la entrada de Fashion Against Aids, que por fin lo encontré y me hace soñar con la playita. Y el bolso, qué más puedo decir... "yo y mis flecos", ya sabemos como es.
