Unrequited Love

There's no other way of calling it: unrequited love. You're infatuated, but completely alone in that so-called relationship and mushy feelings, as the object of your affection will never be yours. Unless, by some fat chance you win the lottery. My new unrequited love segment. Damn it, I'm such a slut. 

No hay otra forma de llamarlo: amor no correspondido. Estás enamorada, pero sabes que estás sola en esa supuesta relación de sentimientos románticos y cursis, ya que la otra parte nunca será tuya. A menos, que por un milagro, te saques la lotería. Como suelo hacer en Instagram, de ahora en adelante hablaré de mis "amores no correspondidos". Porque en eso soy una facilona, "sorra" máxima.

Zara - Autumn Winter Campaing 2013/14

It's official. I declare myself a fan - finally - of a lot of trends for Fall. I mean, what's not to love? If you've followed the blog for a while you know my devotion for tartan and how I'm always wearing something plaid during the winter. Throw in other masculine prints and I'm hooked. Pinstripes? Yes, please. I've spent literally the whole afternoon going back and forth on the Zara campaign and I have to say they've nailed it. Hell, they got me wishing for cooler days! And also debating wh ether to get the Mango or Zara pinstriped coat, an in-your-face clone of the star at Stella McCartney. My poor visa, troubled days lie ahead.

Es oficial. Me declaro fan - por fin - de muchas de las tendencias este otoño. Es inevitable. Si siguen mi blog de antes sabrán mi devoción por el tartán y que siempre suelo llevar algo a cuadros durante el invierno. Si encima le añadimos tejidos masculinos, pues ya me han enganchado. ¿Rayas diplomáticas? Sí, por favor. Me he pasado casi toda la tarde repasando la campaña de Zara y debo decir que lo han clavado. Me tienen deseando con ansias que vuelva el frío, yo que lo detesto. Y debatiendo con cuál versión low cost del abrigo de rayas, clonado descaradamente del de Stella McCartney, me quedaré esta temporada.

Tartan steal

I'm already thinking of Autumn when I go through sales. I'm not one for buying hardcore trends or overly summer-y pieces at this time. And we all know my eternal obsession with a tartan pattern. I hear plaid and I get out the visa. So when I saw this jacket online marked down to 19,99€, I had to have it. A total steal, can't wait for it to come home to momma. 

Ya estoy pensando en otoño cuando ojeo las rebajas. No soy de comprar tendencias muy marcadas o prendas muy veraniegas a estas alturas. Y ya sabemos mi eterna obsesión con el tartán. Veo cuadros y ya tengo la visa lista para la acción. Así que cuando vi en la web de Zara esta chaqueta rebajada a 19,99€, tenía que ser mía. El chollo de la temporada, la espero con ansiedad.

Mirror, Mirror

Metallic trend is back. With a twist. A mix between silver and holographic. Although I didn't exactly like Blumarine's approach with a total space-cadet-shiny holographic ensemble, accessories and little details do make this color attractive. What I wouldn't give for Stella McCartney's pouch, but I think I would have to settle for H&M or Stories. And of course, as soon as I win the lottery I'm aiming for the PS11. Have any of you gotten metallic-fever?

Y vuelve el metalizado. Con un ligero cambio. Una mezcla entre plata y holográfico. Aunque no me gusta el efecto total look espacial que planteó Blumarine, creo que esta gama de colores puede ser muy favorecedora en detalles y complementos. Qué no daría por el clutch de Stella McCartney, pero creo que tendría que conformarme con el de H&M o de Other Stories. Y por supuesto, tan pronto me gane el Euromillones mi objetivo es el PS11. ¿Alguno de ustedes se ha metalizado ya?

Finally, after a lot of anticipation, & Other Stories has launched its online shop. The brand, that has already opened stores in London and Copenhagen, will also have presence on several cities over Europe, including Barcelona. Let us hope that Madrid follows. The Swedish H&M sister will aim to bring that clean cut vibe with a superior quality (similar to COS). I have been addicted to the online shop for the past week, loving the design and display, very fresh, very graphic. I am also surprised and pleased  with the prices, which we thought would be much higher. I can only say that & Other Stories means business. Buckle up.

Por fin, luego de mucha anticipación, & Other Stories ha lanzado su compra online. La marca, que ya abrió tiendas en Londres y Copenhague, tendrá presencia por igual en varias ciudades de Europa, incluyendo Barcelona. Esperemos que le siga Madrid. La hermana de H&M busca traer esos cortes limpios y calidad superior (similar a COS), con aires muy suecos. He estado literalmente adicta a su web desde que abrió, me encanta su diseño e imágenes, muy frescas, todo muy gráfico y fácil. Además me han sorprendido y gustado sus precios, que pensaba serían superiores. Solo puedo decir que & Other Stories viene a competir con fuerza y reclama su lugar en el mundo retail. A ver qué pasa.
