Marni for H&M

I love H&M, and a lot of my friends have learned to love it too from my enthusiasm. The general feeling is that you have to browse intensely to find good stuff. Not necessarily. Just for their wonderful basics, it's worth the visit.

As promised, and given that the official launch for the much anticipated Marni collection is this week, let's review a few of the key looks and pieces that we can expect. I should say that I'm excited about this collection, which is just the opposite feeling with the prior Versace team-up. However, since I'm probably not gonna go stand in line and fight over a piece of clothing with anyone else, there is a large possibility that I'll stay with the craving. 

Me encanta H&M y a muchos de mis amigos les ha empezado a gustar por mi entusiasmo. El sentimiento general es que tienes que "bucear" intensamente para conseguir cosas buenas, cuando no necesariamente es así. Solamente por sus increíbles prendas básicas vale la pena visitarles. 

Lo prometido es deuda, así que aprovechando el lanzamiento de la muy anticipada colección de Marni esta semana, revisemos los looks clave y prendas que podemos esperar. Debo decir que estoy bastante ilusionada con esta colección, todo lo contrario a la anterior colaboración con Versace. Sin embargo, como probablemente no iré a ponerme en cola o a pelearme por una pieza de ropa, existe una gran posibilidad de que me quede con el antojo. 

The campaign is mesmerizing. The short film directed by my beloved Sofia Coppola just sets the right mood and might just trigger my need to go stand in line. The romantic moroccan location, the beautiful prints, that relaxed but cool attitude... they are to die for. Please, take me with you!

La campaña es hechizante. El video realizado por mi amada Sofia Coppola nos mete en el ambiente ideal y puede que detone mi necesidad de ir a ponerme en cola para comprar. El romántico set marroquí, los preciosos estampados y esa actitud relajada pero cool... son para morir. Por favor, ¡quiero ir con ustedes!

Las fotos de la colección nos muestran que podemos esperar en estilismos y tendencias.

Oh that hat. The pajama look, again. And the daring mix of patterns. Works for me. The accessories are gonna be a big part of this capsule collection.

Oh, ese sombrero. El look pijama de nuevo. Y la arriesgada mezcla de estampados. Para mi funciona. Los accesorios serán una parte importante de esta colección cápsula.

I want that t-shirt! I love the colors. Bib neck pieces are still very hot, this collection has a few. The beautiful necklace on the right is also interesting. More pattern mixing, the striped leggings are nice.

¡Quiero esa camiseta! Me encantan los colores. Los collares estilo babero siguen llevándose y esta colección tiene unos cuantos. El collar de la derecha es también interesante. Más mezclas de estampados, los leggings rayados son bonitos.

I like the suit. Might be a little controversial, but I think worn separately has much higher potential of being loved by all. More of those beautiful accessories we talked about on the right. 

Me gusta el traje de chaqueta. Seguro será controversial, aunque creo que usado por separado tiene mayor potencial de atraer a las masas. Más de esos accesorios lindos que mencionábamos en la foto de la derecha.

That dress... got stuck in my head ever since I saw the video. I can't get over the lovely colors. More bibs, and a wonderful jersey-top mixing cotton and leather. Too bad is one of the priciest on the collection (129€). Oh yeah, prices. They go from 50 to 100 euros, with some pricier coats hitting the 140s. 

Ese vestido... se quedó grabado en mi mente desde que vi el video por sus colores tan bonitos. Más baberos y un genial jersey mezcla de algodón y piel. Una pena que sea de lo más caro de la colección (129€). Ah si, los precios. Van de 50 a 100 euros, y algunos abrigos más costosos sobre los 140s.

And to finish it off, a few shots of the accessories mentioned before. I'd love to see and touch them, but judging strictly from the pictures they look accomplished. The shoes are really nice, I'm a sucker for wooden soles. Love the ones on the right. Their prices? 99 bucks each. The necklaces will range 30-50 euros, meanwhile the bibs and earrings will be around 20€ and the bags 80€. Let's hope a can at least catch a glimpse of a few.

Y para terminar, unas fotos de los accesorios mencionados anteriormente. Me encantaría verlos y tocarlos, pero a juzgar por las fotos se ven muy logrados. Los zapatos son geniales, me encantan las suelas de madera. Los de la derecha me gustan mucho. ¿Sus precios? 99 pavos cada uno. Los collares irán entre 30-50€, mientras que los collares y pendientes rondarán los 20€ y los bolsos 80€. Esperemos que pueda aunque sea ojear alguno.
