Hats and sixes

I'm all for hats, as you probably can tell by now. Wearing them not only helps keep the doctor away but also covers the three sixes on my skull from the naked eye. Bah, taking care of my head... like I keep something in there.

Aunque, bah. Cuidar mi cabeza, como si guardase algo ahí dentro.

Guilty Pleasures

I will confess that I have many guilty pleasures in life. Too many. And they are pretty guilty. Like OJ Simpson. Music? Oh yeah. Amongst the three thousand songs currently making me dance on my Ipod I have the most random and cheesy tracks. And trust me, whenever my earphones get unplugged it's usually to a Milli Vanilli song. And snacks? It can get scary. Oh, and Xabi Alonso... my guiltiest of all. Those thoughts where I want to use him like moisturizer. Yes, please.

I just realized that I look like a green Waldo. Damn. Happy Thursday. It's tortilla and beer night!

He de confesar que tengo muchos placeres pecaminosos. Excesivos, la verdad. Vergonzosos.

Comfort Zone

Lately I realize how I'm getting more and more into my comfort zone when I dress. I am no longer as willing to sacrifice everything for a fashion statement. Actually, I never was, except when it came to heels. I wore heels almost every day to college. Well, more like every day for everything. Lots of benefits: It was less challenging considering back in my country I hardly ever walked anywhere. Also, I've always wanted to be taller, though I'm not exactly short... but that's another story for another day.  Finally, I have flat feet so heels give me balance. It was only when I moved to Madrid that I realized how heels are really a sacrifice to the vanity gods: I would walk to school, about seven blocks uphill, carrying my laptop and books. I didn't care. My back, however, did. I am paying the consequences today. Now, as you know, I'm addicted to booties and huge scarves. God help me in ten years.

A mi no me importaba.

Obsession

I know, you're probably wondering how much I love this scarf, right? Do I need it? Only with my oxygen. I get obsessed with garments each season. These boots and scarf are probably my biggest obsession, along with a few warm coats. Oh well, capes and a comfy look. I can't elaborate more, I'm hooked on "Breaking Bad".
