My fifth and final look for Hola.com. All about the details. I am now the biggest consumer of Theraflu and Bisolgrip alive. Purple elephants and pink polkadots... nice.

Mi quinto y último look para Hola.com. En este, todo está en los detalles. Soy oficialmente la mayor consumidora de Theraflu y Bisolgrip sobre la tierra. Elefantes morados y lunares rosas... lindos.

Player's Club

I'm a bad loser and an even a worse winner. No one likes to be on my team but also everyone dreads to play against me. Either way, they might as well forfeit. Because I will win, eventually. I take anything that involves beating someone with passion. It's all about the pride and the conquest.  And that's all you need. It's no surprise now that people hate playing with me, huh? Today's outfit, as usual, is full of contrasts. Cool fancy jogging but-not-too-sporty pants, basic t-shirt, cap and neon heels. All about mixing it up. Hope someone else besides me likes it. 

This song is special because it reminds me of great advice given to me by Cookie as it was passed down from her wise, beautiful mother. "Player's only love you when they're playing". This really cool cap, stolen from my P.D. - who will remain anonymous - made me think of how right Cookie's mother was all along. Am I a player? Maybe. Define player. I like to gamble, sometimes. But then again, I will win... eventually.

Soy una mala perdedora y aún peor ganadora. A nadie le gusta estar en mi equipo pero tampoco le gusta jugar en mi contra. De cualquier forma, igual pueden irse rindiendo. Porque voy a ganar, a la larga. Cualquier cosa que signifique superar al otro me lo tomaré con pasión. Es cuestión de orgullo y de conseguir algo a toda costa. No se necesita más. ¿A que no les sorprende porqué nadie quiere jugar conmigo, verdad? El outfit de hoy, como suele ser ya habitual en mi, está lleno de contrastes. Pantalones chandaleros pero un pelín más formales, camiseta básica, gorra y tacones neón. Se trata de mezclar sin miedo. Espero que a alguien más aparte de mi le guste.

La canción del principio tiene un significado especial porque me recuerda a un buen consejo que siempre me daba mi Cookie, heredado de su sabia y hermosa madre. "Player's only love you when they're playing" (un player solo te quiere mientras juega). Y esta gorra de Player's Club, robada de mi P.D. - quien se mantendrá en el anonimato - me hace pensar en lo acertada que ha estado la madre de Cookie. ¿Será que soy una player? A lo mejor. Me gusta correr riesgos y apostar, muchas veces. Pero, insisto, voy a terminar ganando... a la larga.

Put the lime in the coconut

Ok, so you know the story of the Parrot (told HERE). Well, I've got the funniest update and I just had to share it. It turns out that my traitor but lovely friend whom I adore got herself a pet. A dog called Jackie. Needless to say, I'm jelaous and I hate the bitch. I used to be the third-wheel-sorta-pet of her house, and now she traded me. But not to despair, since my mysterious powers have avenged me. It turns out that her neighbor has a parrot whose favorite hobby is singing at the crack of dawn and then top it off screaming "I'm singleeeeeeee and acclaimeeeeeeeeeed!" Seriously, what are the odds? My friend, at six in the morning, could not help but laugh because it reminded her of the other parrot left in Madrid, but in the end she had to talk to her neighbor because the crazy bird would not shut up. Karma's a bitch. What Cookie doesn't know is that I plan to train it telepathically so she can bite that slut Jackie.

Now to my outfit: I love these neon shoes so much. Pairing it with a simple ensemble seems like the way to go, although I've tried different variations every since I got them a few weeks ago. I can't help singing "Put the lime in the coconut" every time I wear them. I even got a little dance going on like on "Practical Magic". 

I also wanted to tell you all that I'll be leaving for London today to visit my sister and there might be radio silence for a while. I promise to try to update as much as I can. Tons of kisses!

Y bien, ya saben la historia del Parrot (contada AQUÍ). Pues tengo la secuela que me parece tan graciosa y sencillamente tengo que contarla. Resulta que mi linda pero traidora amiga, a la cual adoro, se acaba de comprar una mascota llamada Jackie. Pues odio a la perra esa. Yo solía ser la mascota y tercera rueda de su casa, y me siento sustituida. Pero, no hay que rendirse, ya que mis misteriosos poderes se han vengado. Resulta que su vecino tiene un loro cuyo hobbie favorito es cantar en la madrugada y gritar "soyyyy solteraaaa y solicitadaaaaaa". Me parto, es demasiada coincidencia. Mi amiga, a las seis de la mañana, no pudo evitar morirse de risa porque le recordaba a su parrot de Madrid, pero al final tuvo que terminar hablando con el vecino porque la pájara loca no se calla. El karma no perdona. Y eso, que lo que Cookie no sabe es que planeo entrenarla telepáticamente para que muerda a la Jackie esa.

En fin, volviendo a lo que importa: me encantan estos zapatos neón y los suelo emparejar con cosas  muy simples, me parece la mejor opción, aunque llevo jugando con varias opciones desde que los tengo hace unas semanas. No puedo evitar cantar "Put the lime in the coconut" cada vez que los uso. Incluso hasta hago un bailecito, como en la peli "Practical Magic".

Aprovecho para decirles que me voy hoy a Londres a visitar a mi hermana y puede ser que haya pocas actualizaciones por unos días. Prometo intentar que no sea así. ¡Miles de besos!
