Me and my owl fever. It probably goes back to my favorite Disney movie growing up (until the Little Mermaid came out, of course): Sleeping Beauty. I used to watch over and over again the part where she meets yummy Prince Phillip. But perhaps what made it so magical to me is that instants before he appears, Aurora describes him to her little animal friends and insists they will meet soon. Talk about luck. Her owl friend asks constantly "Who, who?" and at that time I knew I wanted an owl buddy of my own. Corny girl, huh? Well, trust me, I have deep issues with most Disney princesses. I promise to soon tell you the story of how I hate Cinderella, it's a good one and I have a point, promise.
Well, back to what matters. The minute I set eyes on this shirt I knew it had to be mine. I thas owls AND studs that make it the perfect top. The shoes you've seen before, but I think these pictures show best the detail of the heels, which I find very cool. Promise to update a lot more in the next few days. Well, I only know the part I'm hoping for.
Yo y mi fiebre de búhos. Probablemente viene por mi peli animada favorita de Disney durante la infancia (hasta que salió La Sirenita, por supuesto): La Bella Durmiente. Solía ver mil veces la parte donde conoce al bueno del príncipe Felipe. Pero quizá lo que la hacía tan mágica ante mis ojos es que unos instantes antes de que él apareciera, Aurora le describe tal cual a sus amigos animalitos y les insiste en que algún día se conocerán. Vaya que es dichosa la niña. El búho, que siempre le acompaña, le pregunta constantemente "Who, who?" (coincide con el sonido que emiten), tan adorable, y en ese momento sabía que quería to también uno para contarle mis cosas. Qué cursi, ¿no? Pues créanme, tengo serios temas con muchas de las princesas de Disney. Prometo contarles la historia de mi odio por Cenicienta. Tiene su punto, ya verán.
Y bien, de vuelta a los búhos. En el momento en que vi esta camisa supe que tenía que ser mía. ¿Búhos y tachas en una misma prenda? Perfección. Los zapatos ya los han visto, pero creo que estas fotos muestran mejor el detalle del tacón, que me parece muy chulo. Prometo actualizar con más frecuencia en estos días o al menos eso espero e intentaré.
